ABOUT ME ~ AMY WILFORD


I am a mama of 2 teenage boys. Parenting is much easier now that they are older and more independent, but I struggled through the earlier years to work full time at a very demanding and stressful job, take care of my family, and take care of myself. I hit rock bottom before I decided I had to make a change. As the main breadwinner of my family and with students counting on me all day at school, I was drowning in responsibilities. I was my last priority. It took a long time for me to realize that I had it backwards! I didn’t have this self-care checklist or know how to take care of myself without the guilt so I had to figure it out. It was a process, but well worth it!
